Spider Veins

What is the method of treatment?

During a vein removal treatment, the laser shoots a concentrated beam of light energy directly at the targeted lesion. This light penetrates below the surface of the skin and allows the heat to coagulate (clot) the blood within the vessels which forces the tiny veins to collapse. Over the next 8 weeks blood flow stops and the vein gets absorbed by the body. Not to worry, your blood flow gets redirected to deeper veins below the surface of the skin where it should be.

For pigmentation such as a mole, melasma, hemangiomas, etc, the laser is targeted on the lesion with no unnecessary energy deposited elsewhere on the skin. This heat energy causes the pigment to break apart without affecting the surrounding cells

This unique feature allows us to destroy the pigmentation without damage to the skin cells leading to a safe and effective removal of complex skin irregularities.

Spider veins and moles are quite common which can be treated very effectively and safely using our state-of-the-art laser technology.

What to expect?

Each pulse may feel like a sting or a small pinch, if you have sensitivity a medical grade topical numbing cream can be applied prior to the procedure to increase comfort. However, the procedure is usually well tolerated by most clients. With smaller areas redness and swelling are common and will disappear within 24 hours. You will be able to resume normal activities immediately. However, with larger areas targeting larger blood vessels, it can take up to 8 weeks to heal. It is recommended to complete 1-3 sessions for optimal results.

Who is a good candidate?

Anyone who is suffering with red and purple blood vessels in the face and/or body are great candidates. In regards to pigmented lesions, ideally we would prefer to treat clients who have seen a dermatologist to ensure you are medically clear prior to treating a lesion. Please be aware that this laser system is not suitable for the treatment of varicose veins (blue or green veins), as this is a more complex vein which needs to be medically treated.

What is the cost of the procedure?

We offer customized packages at 20% off. The treatment works quite fast, in which we base the price on estimated time it will take to complete each treatment. Specific to veins, we sell packages based on 15 minute, 30 minute, and 60 minutes increments and we will treat as many veins as we can within the allocated treatment time.
